Bothell will play Skyline for the KingCo 4A title next week after a shutout win against Woodinville Friday night at Pop Keeney Stadium. The 35-0 victory makes the Cougars the Crest Division champions for the second consecutive season.
Bothell got on the scoreboard early with defense. Sean Hanrahan made an interception and ran the ball back 31 yards for a touchdown.
The Cougars extended their lead during the second quarter as Dayzell Wilson caught a 37-yard pass from quarterback Ross Bowers for a touchdown and the 14-0 lead.
Bowers would get the next score with his legs, running the ball into the end zone from seven-yards out to extend the lead to 21-0 heading into half time.
Bothell continued to stifle the Falcon offense during the second half and scored two more touchdowns to complete the victory.
With the win, Bothell improves to 7-1. Skyline also has a 7-1 record. Each team’s only loss on the year came at the hands o powerhouse Bellevue.
