Bothell’s boys doubles team of Aditya Lyer/Joe Yamauchi beat Newport’s team of Connor Scott/Garrett Gants, 6-0, 7-5, on Saturday to take fourth in the 4A state tennis tournament in Richland.

The Cougars beat Hazen’s team of Marcus Lee/James Chen, 6-2, 6-2, in the opening round on Friday.

They next played Richland’s team of Nathan Lipton/Gray Evans, who won, 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-4.

The Cougars rebounded from their loss and beat the Jackson team of Patrick Follis/Andrew Hyun, 6-4, 6-1.
