The Bothell High School girls basketball team defeated Mount Si, 48-27, at home on Friday.

The Cougars dominated the first quarter with a 15-2 run. Mount Si regained its composure but never recovered on the scoreboard.

Taya Corosdale led the Cougars with 12 points, while Melinda Akoto had 10 points.
