Bothell blanks Redmond, 3-0, in boys soccer

Russell Kilgannon, Yordan Rivera and Alberto Valle all scored in Bothell High’s 3-0 win over Redmond High April 13. Goalkeeper Shane Lervold earned the shutout.

According to coach Alex Zahajko, Kilgannon opened the scoring by heading in a long free kick from Ryan Schroeder by getting up high and deflecting it over the Redmond keeper. Next, Mauricio Aguilar got a ball out wide and squeezed a pass into Rivera in the middle of the box, and Rivera took a quick touch then found the corner. Finally, Valle added more insurance by bending in a left-footed shot from the right side.

Bothell upped its record to 3-2-0 in 4A Kingco, 5-2-2 overall.
