The Bothelll High School boys basketball team entered the fourth quarter against Redmond down by five points after a dismal first quarter. But the team more than doubled the Mustangs point total during the final eight minutes to complete the comeback 65-58 behind a strong performance from center Josh Martin.
Redmond began the game on fire, going on a 22-8 first-quarter run and looking like they would run the Cougars out of the gym.
But the Bothell players regained their composure and began chipping away at the lead by two points during the second quarter and six during the third. But it was a 25-22 fourth-quarter advantage that pushed the Cougars to the win.
Martin finished the game with 36 points and Andrew Wilson had 10 points.
