The Cougar boys basketball team continued its undefeated ways Saturday with a 57-49 win against 3A KingCo Bellevue at home.
Bothell began the game uncharacteristically slow on offense, scoring just eight first-quarter points. The team got back within a bucket before halftime, trailing 24-22.
But the Cougars put together a solid second half performance, taking the lead back before the fourth quarter and scoring 19 points during the final frame to complete the victory.
Bothell’s Zack LaVine led the Cougars with 18 points, while teammates Perrion Callandret (13) and Josh Martin (12) put up double figures.
The win pushes Bothell to a 5-0 overall record and the squad remains two games ahead of Eastlake in the Crest Division of 4A KingCo.
