The Bothell High School girls basketball team advanced to the second round of a tournament in Couer d’Alene, Idaho with a, 66-56, victory against Post Falls of Idaho on Monday.

The Cougars built a 17-10 lead during the first quarter and pushed it to 32-21 by halftime. The Cougars continued to extend their advantage, pushing it to 49-31, before the fourth quarter.

Bothell was led by Taya Corosdale with 21 points, while teammates Erin Burns (12), Brenda Akoto (11) and Keyonna Jones (10) all finished in double figures in scoring.
