The Bothell and Inglemoor High School boys basketball teams played a competitive game on Tuesday but a third-quarter run gave the Cougars a 52-38 victory in Kenmore.
The teams played a close first quarter, with Bothell taking just a one-point lead into the second quarter. The teams would head into the locker room for halftime with the Cougars leading, 22-21.
But the third quarter would be the difference. Bothell’s offense broke out for 22 points while the Vikings struggled from the floor for just 11 points.
Bothell was led by Jake Medjo with 19 points and Cameron Tyson with 15 points. Inglemoor was led by Jalen Woodley and Ryan Hamilton with 12 points each.
