The Bothell High School girls basketball team used a big second half performance to beat Kamiak, 68-43, Monday.
Kamiak got a good start and led 18-13 at the end of the first eight minutes of play. But the Cougar defense stepped up during the second quarter, holding Kamiak to just four points.
But it was the 42-21 second-half performance that put the game away for Bothell.
Cougar Keyonna Jones led all scorers with 19 points.
