Bellevue High School’s Bubba Baker scored four first-half touchdowns to help the Wolverines to a 36-point halftime lead and ultimately a 49-6 win at Bellevue High School on Friday.
Baker began the game with a five-yard touchdown run and then returned a punt 73 yards for a score.
Bothell kept it close with a Sam Mcpherson touchdown run from two yards out on its next possession, but failed to convert the two-point conversion.
The momentum for the Cougars was short lived, as Baker returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for his third touchdown of the game during just the first quarter of play.
The Wolverines kept the pressure on, scoring three more touchdowns before halftime.
The loss drops Bothell to 1-1 as they prepare to host Capital at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Pop Keeney Stadium.
