Cedar Park Christian senior Tim Abbott set a new school discus record with a throw of 154 feet in a recent meet, according to Eagle athletic director Bill Bettinger.

Bettinger is impressed how Abbott has grown into a stellar athlete over the years.

“From ninth grade to a senior … now he’s got muscles on top of muscles,” he said.
