It’s that time of year again!
No, I’m not talking about a big feast, bustling shoppers, or holiday lights. I’m talking about 1099’s, year end planning, and tax prep.
Yep, happy holidays Bothell and Kenmore!
This is a great time of year to meet with your tax planner. Where do you sit for 2012? Do you know how much you might owe? Are there some deductions you can take this year to help lighten the tax load?
I hear you. Times are tough. There isn’t a lot of extra money for meetings with CPA’s or financial planners.
I hear you. You have dinners, and gifts, and holiday parties to plan. There isn’t time for all these meetings.
Make time. Find the money. Don’t wait until 2013 to find out where you sit for 2012.
One of the most important (yet most neglected) jobs a business owner has is keeping the business financially healthy. Taking the steps to meet with your team is vitally important. Make that appointment with your CPA, financial planner, and insurance agent before year-end.
Remember, this is your team. It’s a group of people you have chosen to help you get the most out of one of your biggest investments. Your business. So use them.
You don’t want to be hit with any surprises. Make sure your money stays in your pocket on April 15. Rest easy as you slide across that icy road that you are fully covered. And don’t get caught on retirement day with no money for Tahiti.
Use your team. Be prepared. Sleep better this holiday season knowing you are covered.
Be safe and happy holidays Bothell and Kenmore!
