I am concerned about the increasing frequency/duration of power outages in Kenmore over the past few years. Living in senior housing with dependence on an elevator makes outages particularly challenging.
I have contacted PSE and the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (WTUC) a number of times since November 2015 only to get the bureaucratic runaround. WUTC suggested I contact my state legislators about it, which is my next step.
I am familiar with Energize Eastside but nothing seems to be progressing related to the Kenmore outages. PSE is well aware of the escalating growth on the Eastside and they have access to future growth projections. Apparently they are letting this drag on until they are in a damage control mode.
My question is when is Kenmore going to shift from a third world village infrastructure to 21st century service? Maybe someone at the Reporter can do some investigative journalism on this?
