She received Woman of the Year awards for her work in the concrete construction industry. She is remembered as an intelligent, compassionate and courageous leader in the industry.
Norma was a very active member in the Bothell community and was a dedicated servant in the Northshore Rotary and NPACF /Northshore Performing Arts Center Foundation. Norma was the first woman member in the Northshore rotary. She started the Northshore Rotary Santa Breakfast that initially served only 2 dozen families… it has grown into serving over 1400 each Christmas season with a meal, pictures with Santa, entertainment, a toy and a warm jacket provided by Woodinville Rotary.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as much as anything. Norma always had an open invitation to family and friends at her home in Bothell.
