-70 years and a day!

“You made it Pop!”

John was born in San Diego California and moved to Kenmore as a small child were he lived out most of his life. Fighting until the very last moment he lost his battle with cancer. Most knew him as a ladies man who loved to race hydro boats, fish, and hunt, have a cocktail with the locals and enjoyed the occasional tee time at the local golf course. He is survived by his wife Christine whom he finally married on May 23, 2010 after being together for 23 years, his three children – Shannon Schnug, John Robert Ratcliffe III and Teresa Harnecker, his sister Donna and nieces Judy and Sandy along with his six grandchildren – Brittany, Erik, Nick, Elizabeth, Andreas and Quinn. He was well loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all the lifelong friends he has been blessed with.
