Dennis D. Ross

Dennis D. Ross, 63, passed away at home on January 21, 2010 after a four year battle with cancer. He was born October 27, 1946 in Aurelia, IA. He graduated from the USAFE High School in Weisbaden, West Germany and University of Puget Sound. He was an employee of Washington United Terminals. Dennis loved and was beloved by his family. He enjoyed classical music and attending the symphony. An accomplished cook, Dennis was known for great peanut brittle, fudge, pomegranate jelly and cranberry relish. He traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Caribbean, experiencing and teaching his family about the art, music, food and cultures he visited. A memorial service was held Saturday, January 23. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.He was preceded in death by his parents The Reverend Joel and Leola Ross, his brother Roger Ross, great-niece Teresa Jones and great-nephew Jacob Jones. He is survived by his brother Joel Ross (Betty), sister Ramona Malinowski, 12 nieces and nephews, 17 great- nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Emma.
