A women’s conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bothell.

The Life Lessons Academy 2014 Women’s Conference is about equipping women to build on their life experience, develop self reliance, and improve their self respect.

This day-long event is an opportunity for women to connect and become more confident and self-sufficient in key areas of their lives, from finance to health care to personal development and more.

Statistics show that women typically live longer than men. They also show that, at some point in their lives, women will be on their own, whether by choice or by chance. Because of that, women need to be informed and prepared to be a decision maker. The conference speakers this year include Kimberly Walker, the 2014 Ms. American Beauties Plus Ambassador. She and seven other women speakers are excited to share their wisdom and expertise on a wide range of topics specially designed to help you become your own best advocate.
