Inglemoor High’s Vicki Sherwood has been selected as 4A Kingco North Region High School Principal of the Year by the Washington Association of Secondary School Principals.

Known for her “open-door” policy, Sherwood has served the students, staff and Inglemoor community for 27 years, the last 18 as their principal.

“Vicki runs a kid-friendly school,” states leadership teacher Tina McRae. “She will stop whatever she is doing to listen to a student. She extends this openness to her staff and to the parent community. She is always present and willing to make our school better.”
