The following is a release from the Washington State Patrol:

Washington State Patrol detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred between 2:30-3 a.m. on Nov. 23 on SB I-405 near Renton.

The victim stated that he observed a white Cadillac, with no tinted windows, drive past his silver, Toyota Corolla soon after he felt a pain in his shoulder.  The Cadillac may have exited to SR 181 (Interurban Ave.) in Tukwila, just north of Southcenter Mall.

The victim believes that the driver of the Cadillac may have been upset because he was not able to pass while traveling on the freeway.

Evidence shows that a bullet went through the rear of the Toyota Corolla, eventually striking the victim near his shoulder.
