UW Bothell ranked seventh by Best Value Schools

The University of Washington Bothell was recently ranked as the seventh best value university out of 15 in the state according to a list compiled by Best Value Schools.

The University of Washington Bothell was recently ranked as the seventh best value university out of 15 in the state according to a list compiled by Best Value Schools.

The survey factored in graduation rates, net price, acceptance rates and a 20-year net return on investments.

UW Bothell ranked highly due to its swell of new majors offered since 2010, 33 to be exact, its diversity as nearly half of students represent ethnic minorities, and it’s $287,500 20-year return on investment for it’s average $9,209 yearly tuition rate.

Also noted in the survey was it’s new 36,000 square foot Activities and Recreation Center which hosts student government offices, a gym and social space for the university’s 5,000 students.

The list also ranked the Seattle UW at the top of the list, with UW Tacoma coming in fifth.

Another survey conducted by Washington Monthly ranked the university as 13th out of 233 colleges in their western region in its 2015 Best Bang for the Buck list.
