The University of Washington, Bothell, is celebrating 20 years with a trio of events open to the public.

• The 5th Annual UW-Bothell 5K Run-Walk to benefit the UW-Bothell Alumni Council Scholarship Fund will take place on campus May 15. The first start is at 9 a.m.

• The featured event, the 20th Year Celebration, is from noon to 4 p.m. May 15 following the 5K Run/Walk. A formal program will be held from noon to 12:30 p.m. The marking of this milestone will feature music, tours, food, children’s activities, networking and career development, educational sessions, historical information to celebrate the 20th anniversary and more.

• The North Sound College Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 15 in the Mobius Performing Center Hall. People can:

• Meet with advisers from Washington state colleges and universities

• Get tips on applying to the college of their choice

• Learn how to apply for financial aid and scholarships
