Boy Scout Troop 582 is organizing a Christmas tree-cycling event for Kenmore residents from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 7 at the Northshore Park & Ride: 68th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 182nd Street. Cost is $10 per tree and $5 per wreath. People are asked to remove all decorations, tinsel, nails, etc. that could clog the chipper. Flocked trees are not permitted.
