Individuals with disabilities and their families can find ongoing support during Snohomish County’s 16th annual Transition Resource Fair, to be held March 26 at Cascade High School.
The transition fair provides an opportunity for families to meet more than 60 agencies and attend classes to increase their awareness of community resources and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
“This annual fair is a way for individuals and families to get a better idea of what help is out there to assist them,” said Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon. “It’s well attended and a necessary part of the services we provided.”
The free event will be from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Cascade High School, 801 E Casino Road, Everett, and focuses on individuals with disabilities 12 years and older.
Agencies will provide information on advocacy, assistive technology, support groups, affordable housing, transportation options, guardianship, Social Security, leadership opportunities, wills and trusts, recreational opportunities, counseling, canine companions, employment providers, mental health and more.

The annual transition fair is co‐sponsored by Snohomish County’s Human Services Department, the Snohomish County Transition Council and Everett Public Schools.
