Thursday storm updates

All Northshore School District schools are open and on normal schedules.

Following Tuesday’s wind storm, power companies, schools and local governments continue working to restore power and repair infrastructure.

Power was restored to the University of Washington Bothell around 10 p.m. Wednesday and the campus was open as of this morning.

Bastyr University is open today after being without power for more than 24 hours.

Bothell Police are reporting Northeast 188th Street and Valley View Road have been reopened this morning. Northeast 190th Street and 92nd Avenue Northeast were reopened yesterday.

More than 330 customers are still without power in Bothell and Kenmore.

Puget Sound Energy is reporting they have 78 linemen crews working across their service area along with other servicemen, tree crews, damage assessors and support personnel.

Around 14,000 customers are still without power. Power is expected to be restored to most customers today, with more remote areas such as south Whidbey Island, Skykomish along Highway 2, Hyak off I-90, Greenwater near Crystal Mountain and parts of central Kitsap County remaining without power possibly until Saturday.
