The following is a release from the city of Bothell:

Downtown Bothell will be the place to be next week. There will be three major events: a Bothell High School football game, the grand opening of McMenamins Anderson School and the second annual Bothell Beer Festival. Leave extra time to find parking and expect traffic congestion. Consider walking, taking the bus, or carpooling to events.

The Bothell Police Department has four officers who help manage outgoing traffic at each Bothell High School football game; typically about 3,000 fans attend. If you’re one of those, consider walking to McMenamins before or after the game.
