Riley Baynham, sixth-grader at Sunrise Elementary, and Mike Frizalone, eighth-grader at Timbercrest Junior High, have qualified for the National Geographic Society’s 2011 Geographic Bee semifinals. Both are eligible to compete April 1 at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.

The state winner will receive $100 and a trip to Washington, D.C., where he/she will represent Washington on May 24-25 in the national finals at the National Geographic Society headquarters.
