Susan Gonzales-Barrett’s dog Asics announced as Reporter pet costume contest winner

Susan Gonzales-Barrett and her dog Asics won the Bothell/Kenmore Reporter's Halloween costume contest. They won a gift card to the Bothell Feed Center for Asics' Halloween costume as a "Chia Pet."

Bothell resident Susan Gonzales-Barrett and her dog Asics won the Bothell/Kenmore Reporter’s Halloween costume contest. They won a gift card to the Bothell Feed Center for Asics’ Halloween costume as a “Chia Pet.”

Gonzales-Barrett said that she adopted Asics when she was six weeks old at a Bothell animal adoption event hosted by the Wenatchee Animal Shelter.

Asics and Gonzales-Barrett enjoy participating in 10K races and run in the Furry Scurry 5K on an annual basis.
