Stolls celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Walt and Jacquie Stoll of Bothell celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 9.

While attending Roosevelt High in Seattle, Walt spent time life guarding on Seattle beaches. He joined the Navy and spent two years serving the country on a submarine. Walt then attended the University of Washington. Jacquie graduated from Garfield High and studied business at Northwest Business College. She became employed by Pacific Bell.

Walt and Jacquie were married at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Seattle and have been active in Lutheran churches all of their marriage. After graduating from the University of Washington, Walt worked for Kaiser Aluminum for a total of 33 years in Spokane and then Oakland, Calif.

They have four boys; Mark and Lee reside in Spokane and Brad and Chris live in the greater Seattle area. Walt and Jacquie have nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They enjoy good health, traveling, bridge, their dog Carter, church and staying active.
