The staff at the Heritage Christian Academy in Bothell showed support for survivors of domestic violence on Thursday, Oct. 20 by wearing purple. The awareness week is in conjunction with The National Network To End Domestic Violence.

“Domestic Violence hits very close to home with our school as we have a staff member who has been directly affected,” said Heritage Christian Academy spokesperson Cristen L. Avlonitis. “We celebrate her and the people who speak out and use their voice to make a difference.”
