Melissa Springer, general manager of the Hampton Inn Seattle/Everett Downtown, has joined the Board of Directors of the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau.

Springer has overseen the development of the Hampton Inn Seattle/Everett Downtown from its construction to opening in July 2014.

Prior to joining this hotel, she worked in the Seattle lodging industry for six years and in South Lake Tahoe, California, for 13 years in resort management.

She has a total of 30 years’ experience in the lodging industry, gaining expertise in public relations, financial management, marketing and government relations.
