Middle- and high-school students are invited to share their thoughts about education and beyond with Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe, D-Bothell, from 7-8:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at her annual 1st District Youth Forum at the Northcreek Events Center (University of Washington-Bothell/Cascadia Community College campus, 18345 Campus Way N.E., Bothell).

Forum topics will include, but are not limited to, the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL), school safety, technology and the economy.

“We spend so much time in committee discussing the future of our state’s education system,” McAuliffe said. “I always look forward to speaking with youth in schools today about their perspective.”
