The Seattle-area chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers is looking for three deserving families in King and Snohomish counties to receive a two-room makeover during a three-day period from March 6-8.

The chapter encourages interested families to download an “Organization 9-1-1” application from www.seattlenapo.com. Applications will be received through Jan. 30.

Financial need and special circumstances will be taken in consideration during the application review but are not an application requirement. Winners will be selected after a phone screening and an in-person interview. They will be notified by Feb. 17.

Organizers, who are ready to come to the rescue of cluttered families, will work with the families selected to fully organize two rooms of their home. Eligible rooms include: family room, living room, playroom, kitchen, dining room and bedrooms. Homeowners will be responsible for the cost of any organizing materials and garbage or recycling fees.
