Starting the week of June 19, crews will refresh the roadway pavement markings throughout the City of Bothell. The work will take two to three weeks to complete, depending on weather conditions.
City public works operations crews will sweep the streets in preparation for the work, and King County crews will perform the striping work under an interlocal agreement with Bothell.
Striping will begin in the southwest portion of the city on Waynita Way from NE 145th Street and proceed north.
The city’s annual striping program consists of refreshing the roadway lines on major roadways, refreshing crosswalk markings and installing missing raised pavement markings.
Drivers are encouraged to be aware of crews and drive safely when following the sweeper and striping truck in the coming weeks.
