Bothell detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a woman they found in a Bothell home during a welfare check on Tuesday morning.
Sgt. Cedric Collins said that the woman died of “homicidal violence.”
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has not determined the person’s identity or the cause of death.
The Bothell Police Department responded to a house in the 200th block of 240 St. Southwest, in Snohomish County, at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning to conduct a welfare check for a Bothell woman.
Upon arrival, officers found a deceased woman inside the home.
“She had not showed up to her workplace as expected,” said Bothell police Capt. Denise Langford.
Collins said that the deceased could not be confirmed as the missing woman and that there were kids involved in the investigation, but they were not injured in the incident.
