The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The City of Kenmore contracts with the KCSO for police services. The Bothell-Kenmore Reporter Police blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.
Nov. 5
Boat broken into: 5:35 p.m., 6200 block of N.E. 175th St. The victim got a call from a North Lake Marina official advising that there had been several prowls on boats recently. The victim checked on his boat and found that someone had entered his boat via an unlocked hatch and stole a laptop.
Attempting to elude: 7:42 p.m., N.E. Bothell Way. Police pursued a 1994 Cadillac DeVille that was later found crashed against the back fence of Acacia Cemetery. The car was held for investigation after police found the victim’s credit card inside.
Nov. 6
Construction site theft: 1:07 p.m., 18100 61st Ave. N.E. Someone went into an unsecured construction site and stole metal construction material.
Assault: 5:18 p.m., 16600 block of Juanita Drive N.E. A “good friend” threw a purse at the victim, striking the victim in the leg.
Disturbance: 6:07 p.m., 7200 block of N.E. 182nd St. A dementia patient pushed another resident to the floor at an assisted living center. No injuries were reported.
Nov. 7
Animal problem: 6:30 a.m., 15600 block of Simonds Road N.E. An officer was dispatched to a private residence for a report of an injured deer. Upon arrival, the officer found a large blacktail deer sitting in the front yard. Someone had injured the deer with a pistol.
Vandalism: 1:30 p.m., 6900 block of N.E. 182nd St. The victim went to his vehicle to discover he had a flat tire. After changing the tire, he discovered that the other three tires were flat as well. All four tires had multiple nails in them.
Vandalism: 7:47 p.m., 1900 block of 71st Ave. N.E. The victim’s vehicle was hit was a paintball while passing through the location. The hood of the victim’s vehicle was chipped.
Nov. 11
Vandalism: 1:38 a.m., 19500 block of 61st Ave. N.E. An unknown suspect broke out the windows of a vehicle using a crowbar and fled the scene in a waiting vehicle.
