Theft
According to police, a man described as bald and in his late 20s left a store in the 20000 block of State Route 527 with $620 in razor cartridges. Public reports contained no further information.
Residential burglary
In what police say was an attempted burglary, someone tampered with the locks on a home in the 20000 block of Ninth Avenue Southeast. Reports did not say what thwarted the would-be thieves.
Car theft
A green, 1992 Honda Accord was stolen from an unidentified apartment complex. Valued at $3,000, the vehicle was recovered at an undisclosed location by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department. Police said the car suffered unspecified damages in the course of the theft. They did not report having any suspects.

Theft
A laptop computer, an iPod and a cell phone are the items reported missing from an apartment in the 10000 block of Northeast 185th Street. The items were valued at approximately $1,500. Police reports state officials are unclear how the thieves gained access to the apartment. Residents apparently were home at the time of the theft.
Aug. 27
Residential burglary
Once more, police reports say officials don’t know how the thieves entered the victim’s home, this time in the 10000 block of Northeast 185th Street. A computer and game system were among the items missing, valued at $1,500. No one was home when the theft took place and police did not report having any suspects.
Aug. 26
Theft from vehicle
A wallet, cash, checks, debit cards, gift cards and a stereo/CD player were stolen from a car parked outside a residence in the 20000 block of Ninth Avenue Southeast. The missing items were valued at $1,200.
Theft from vehicle
Cash and tools valued at $35 were taken from a car parked in a driveway in the 20000 block of 33rd Drive Southeast. The car apparently had been left unlocked.
