Residential burglary

Police say persons unknown tried unsuccessfully to break into a home in the 18600 block of Beardslee Boulevard. Reports said the would-be perpetrators attempted to pry away molding from a back door in order to gain entry into the residence.

Motor vehicle theft

A 1990 Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 14700 block of 93rd Boulevard Northeast. The car was valued at about $2,000.

Motor vehicle theft

Yet another 1990 Honda Civic disappeared, this time from the 3900 block of 243rd Place Southeast. Police did not supply the value of this vehicle.

Commercial burglary

Unnamed in police reports, a restaurant in the 2000 block of Maltby Road was the target of burglars who made off with $810 in cash and tools. Reports said the perpetrators punched out a lock in the front door of the business to gain entry.

Theft from vehicle

Police said a subwoofer speaker was taken from a car parked in the lot of an apartment complex in the 2200 block of 227th Street Southeast. The item was valued at $400. Reports stated there was no sign of forced entry into the car.

Residential burglary

Thieves made off with a large number of items — total value about $25,000 — after breaking into a home in the 800 block of 235th Place Southeast. The stolen goods included two laptop computers, jewelry, a camera and other electronics. Reports said the suspects entered through an open sliding door on the back of the house.

Residential burglary

Nothing was reported missing when someone broke into what police described as a vacant home undergoing renovations in the 7800 block of Northeast 155th Place. Reports said the perpetrators broke a window and a kicked a hole in a wall of the home.

Car theft

A 1991 Acura was stolen over night from the Coventry Condominiums on Northeast 182nd Street. Reports didn’t mention the value the car or contain any news of the recovery of the vehicle.

Vandalism

Reports said intoxicated suspects used rocks to break light fixtures at the Asteria apartment complex on 80th Avenue Northeast. Those suspects were cited and released, according to police.

Vandalism

An unknown suspect broke out a side window in JR’s Pub on 181st Avenue Northeast.
