Car theft

A 1994 Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot of a residential complex in the 12600 block of Northeast 185th Street. Valued at $5,000, the King County Sheriff’s Office recovered the car at an undisclosed location. The car’s doors and hood were missing.

Jan. 15

Residential burglary

Entering through a bathroom window, police said a burglar made off with cash and cigarettes from a home in the 12600 block of Northeast 190th Street.

Jan. 12

Theft from vehicle

Containing at least some cash and keys, a purse was snatched from a car parked on the street in front of a residence in the 15500 block of 105th Avenue Northeast. The stolen items were valued at $200.

KENMORE

Theft from vehicle

Details were somewhat scarce, but police reported four incidents at the Kenmore Park and Ride lot over the course of two days. A car stereo disappeared from a car parked in the lot on this day. Someone cut the catalytic convertor off another vehicle on the same day. Reports did not indicate if officials believe the incidents are related.

Jan. 20

Theft from vehicle

Valued at more than $250, undisclosed items were stolen from the a car parked in a residential driveway in the 17000 block of Inglewood Road. The suspect smashed out a window in the car to gain access.

Jan. 18

Vandalism

Police said a man broke out the windows on his ex-girlfriend’s car using a tire iron. The incident took place in the 16300 block of 81st Place Northeast. Reports did not indicate any arrests.

Jan. 12

Assault/domestic violence

Reports were shy on some details, but said a suspect was arrested, charged with fourth-degree assault, after allegedly striking the victim in the face with a detachable faucet during an argument. Reports did not detail any injuries or offer any further details.
