Theft from vehicle

A laptop computer, some tools, a tool belt and an X-Box video-game system are among the items stolen from a car left parked and unlocked in a lot in the 9400 block of Northeast 146th Street. The missing items were valued at over $2,600.

March 29

Theft from vehicle

Thieves broke out a window in a car parked in the 22600 block of State Route 527. They made off with a purse, cash and gift cards valued at roughly $760.

Residential burglary

Police say the perpetrators broke a wooden panel in a front door to gain access to a home on 228th Street Southeast. They left with a firearm and flat-screen TV. The items were valued at $800.

Residential burglary

Police say its unclear how the perpetrators gained access to an apartment in the 18100 block of 96th Avenue Southeast. They left with cash and medication valued at $100.

Commercial burglary

Police reports don’t say if the suspects were scared off, but nothing was taken after someone broke in a child-care facility in the 2900 block of 228th Street Southeast. Reports say entry is believed to have been gained through a window.

KENMORE

Arson

Someone set fire to a trash container near the cafeteria at Kenmore Junior High on 66th Avenue Northeast. No other damage was reported. The incident was discovered on March 29, but had taken place over the weekend. No suspects were reported.

March 31

Car theft

Reports didn’t contain too many ready details, but someone walked onto what was described as a work site in the 6700 block of Northeast 182nd.

They left with a commercial truck used by an electrical service. The value of the vehicle and any equipment was not given and the vehicle had not been recovered as of last week.
