Residential burglary
Public reports don’t say what led police to the suspects, but do say officials arrested a man and a woman, ages not given, in connection with a residential burglary that took place at an apartment in the 10000 block of Northeast 175th Street. Police say they recovered from the suspect’s car items such as DVDs, video games, a checkbook and a camera that allegedly were taken from the apartment. The stolen goods were valued at about $650.
July 11
Car theft
A 1997 black Honda Civic was stolen from a residence in the 10000 block of Northeast 189th Street. Valued at $4,000, the car has not been recovered.
Residential burglary
Suspects slashed a window screen, but police say those suspects were unable to gain entry into an apartment in the 19000 block of 100th Avenue.
July 9
Commercial burglary
Police say someone attempted to bust in the front door of unidentified business in the 10000 block of Main Street. No entry to the business was gained, but the suspects broke a window and did about $500 in damage to the door.
July 8
Indecent exposure
Public reports contain few details, but police say they arrested a man, 35, found “completely nude” in the 1600 block of 228th Street. Reports state there were numerous witnesses to the incident that occurred around 7 p.m. The suspect was charged with indecent exposure and resisting arrest.
Commercial burglary
Paychecks and a cordless drill are the items listed as missing after someone forced their way into an unidentified landscaping business in the 10000 block of Woodinville Drive. Police say the perpetrators forced open a front door to gain entry.
KENMORE
July 14
Theft from vehicle
Police say a backpack was stolen when someone broke into a vehicle parked on the street in the 6300 block of Northeast 158th Street. Police did not know the value of the backpack or its contents. The suspect smashed out a window to gain entry into the car.
July 7
Drug related
Police say they stopped the suspect after he ran a red light at the intersection of Northeast 181st Street and 73rd Avenue Northeast. The arresting officer stated he had to slam on his brakes to avoid a collision with the driver, who eventually was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Vandalism
While on routine patrol, police say they discovered a small tree had been knocked down at Kenmore Junior High on 66th Avenue Northeast. Reports said the tree had been planted between parking areas and that it’s destruction did not appear to have occurred naturally.
