Participants of the Peter Kirk Classic will tee off at the Inglewood Golf Club to celebrate the 20th year of the event.

“It has always been a popular event, and is a great way for chamber members to get to know each other better while having fun,” said Samantha St. John of the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce. “Having the event at the Inglemoor course offers an opportunity for people to play this exclusive course by participating in our tournament.”

The event is from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at the club, located at 6505 Inglewood Road NE in Kenmore. It will be a four person scramble format.

The tournament started at Mount Si Golf Course in 1994 and moved to Willows Run Golf Course in 2003. The proceeds benefit the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, which works to support area businesses.

“Many of the business leaders in the Kirkland and surrounding area participate in this tournament,” St. John said. “This is a great opportunity to meet new people and make new business connections.”

Edward Jones is the title sponsor of the tournament. There will be raffle prizes, door prizes and tournament prizes.

“This is a great opportunity to meet other professionals in the area and enjoy this highly rated private course,” St. John said. “We are already over 50 percent full on golfer registration and we only have a few hole sponsorships left.”

It is $125 per person to golf. The fee includes green fees, cart use, range balls, swag bag, contests, awards dinner and a chance at door prizes.
