PCC Natural Markets will open a new store in Bothell this summer and to celebrate the company held a contest for “the ultimate Fourth of July Block Party,” complete with food and drink for up to 25 friends, family and neighbors.
The block party was delivered on Monday to winners and Bothell residents Ted and Shelley Korn by Celeste Coxen, Bothell PCC’s store director, and Kate Pierce, the assistant director. To see the winning entry, visit https://www.facebook.com/shelley.korn/posts/10208024780591710.
On the menu for the Korns and their guests was an emerald city salad, blueberry chevre ravioli, blueberry nectarine caprese salad, grilled chicken, brownies/cookies platter and beverages.
In addition, Bothell PCC also picked three runners up who received $50 gift cards for the new Bothell PCC.
Residents of Bothell were invited to enter the contest by sharing a photo of how they celebrate community using the hashtag #PCCBlockParty via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Supplies for the BBQ will were delivered in time for the July Fourth festivities.
The new PCC-Bothell store will be located at 22621 Bothell Everett Highway.
