Minor pavement repairs along two short portions of King County’s Burke-Gilman Trail in Kenmore will require brief closures and detours in early December. Because the work is dependent upon the weather, the exact dates of the construction and detours can’t be determined in advance.
Crews will be repaving the trail following some utility work, and trying to eliminate a few lows spots where water puddles along the trail. The closures and detours will only apply to daylight construction hours.
Work will be occurring near the trail’s intersection with 65th Avenue Northeast and near the 73rd Avenue Northeast underpass. Flagged detours will be in place for trail users at both locations.
