The Northshore YMCA is pleased to offer two holiday programs to benefit community members in need of a little extra support this season – the Harvest Meal Baskets Program and the Wish Upon a Star Holiday Giving Program. Recipients do not need to be Y members.
“The Northshore Y is delighted to be able to connect individuals and organizations with our neighbors who greatly appreciate a little help in making the holidays special for their families,” said Luann Jackman, Branch Executive of the Northshore YMCA. “These efforts are in line with the Y’s commitment to social responsibility, and we look forward to working together with our community this season.”
Harvest Meal Baskets offer community members and organizations the opportunity to give meals or meal gift cards to underserved families for Thanksgiving. Request forms and sponsor forms for Harvest Meal Baskets are available at the Northshore Y, located at 11811 NE 195th Street in Bothell. Request forms must be received by Nov. 15.
Pick up days for recipients are Nov. 23, noon to 4 p.m., and Nov. 25, 2-6 p.m. a The Y at Carol Edwards Center, 17401 133rd Ave. NE, in Woodinville.
