The Northshore Rotary Club held its 20th annual Santa Breakfast Dec. 12, where students from the Northshore School District were invited to attend, at Northshore Junior High. They served 1,325 breakfasts, and that didn’t even include the number of people who came to the event for pictures with Santa, the distribution of toys and each child who received a new warm jacket.

Those involved included Woodinville Rotary, folks from the Secondary Academy for Success (SAS), Bothell High, Inglemoor High, Joanie Root of Northshore Junior High, Cindy Scott and her Campfire girls, Mark Campbell, Margret Dam and Food Services of America, along with many community members.

Rotary also held its annual auction in October and raised enough funds to continue its projects that have touched the lives of many during these tough times.

The Northshore Rotary Club is a nonprofit organization that has been supporting the community, as well as assisting in numerous national and international humanitarian projects and programs, for more than 50 years. Rotary is a service organization whose motto is “Service above Self” and whose local members are dedicated to improving their community while generating actions that elicit understanding and cooperation among all.
