Northshore Kiwanis Aktion Club collects food for Hopelink program

Members of the Northshore Kiwanis Aktion Club collected over 225 pounds of food and over $150 in gift cards during its food drive to support the Friends of Youth annual “Thanksgiving Food Basket” program.

Members of the Northshore Kiwanis Aktion Club collected over 225 pounds of food and over $150 in gift cards during its food drive to support the Friends of Youth annual “Thanksgiving Food Basket” program.

The program provides food for homeless youth and struggling families around the holidays.

The Kiwanis Aktion Club offers leadership, community inclusion and volunteer opportunities for adults with special needs, and is a collaborative Program of the Kiwanis Club of Northshore and the Northshore Wranglers.

Planning meetings are held first Tuesdays monthly from 3-3:50 p.m. at Kenmore Lanes.
