Northshore Baby Corner, which collects gently-used clothing and gear to distribute to children in need in Bothell and surrounding communities, is kicking off its first warm winter clothing drive on Nov. 1. Throughout the month of November, the organization will accept donations of warm children’s clothes and coats to meet the need of low-income families this season.

Northshore Baby Corner seeks donations of gently-used or new clothing, pajamas, winter and rain coats, mittens and hats, from newborn to size 7. There is a particular need for sizes 3T to 6. People are also encouraged to donate shoes and boots, car seats, high chairs, toys and books. The car seats must be less than six years old. All clothes must be freshly laundered with no stains or tears.

Donations can be dropped of at the Bothell United Methodist Church, located at 18515 92nd Ave. N.E. in Bothell. There is a crib inside the lobby where donations may be placed Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Northshore Baby Corner, an all-volunteer run organization, reaches out through its social service partners to help low-income families, homeless families and teen moms with basic necessities. Last year, Northshore Baby Corner distributed more than 250 orders of clothing and equipment, including more than 100 packages of diapers.
