Leisure Care, a Seattle-based senior housing management company, has announced it now manages Bothell-based Foundation House. Under the new management, Foundation House has been renamed as Woodland Terrace.
Woodland Terrace is a senior living community with 121 independent apartments located next to the Northshore Senior Center.
“Woodland Terrace is a beautiful community in a prime location, with a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere,” Dan Madsen, president of Leisure Care, said in a statement. “We are really looking forward to making the experience even greater for residents by introducing Leisure Care’s signature programs and premium services.”
Leisure Care plans to bring more opportunities for residents to stay active by implementing its signature programs, including:
– PrimeFit: an innovative health and fitness program that includes a PrimeFit Gym, Balance Builders balance program, walking programs, recreational sports, aquatic exercise, holistic offerings and low-impact exercise.
– BrainFit: in partnership with Rosetta Stone, BrainFit was designed by neuroscientists to help keep residents’ minds healthy, build a stronger brain, concentrate deeper and enhance memory.
– Travel by Leisure Care: a travel company available to residents that understands the unique needs of seniors.
