Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna, current attorney general for the state of Washington, and Republican state senate candidate Dawn McCravey, former president of the Northshore School Board, will address an audience of teachers and other educators from 3:30-5:30 p.m. June 8 in The Bistro at Chateau Bothell Landing (17543 102nd Ave. N.E.).

The candidates will discuss their policies and platforms, particularly with respect to education.

“I ran for the Northshore School Board in 2007 because we had a urgent need for a more balanced math curriculum based on more rigorous Washington state standards. Northshore School District has since prioritized education excellence and actively pursued getting updated curriculum into the hands of our teachers,” McCravey said.
