Bothell State Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe endorsed Kimberly D’Angelo for the Northshore School District (NSD) School Board on Tuesday. McAuliffe joins candidate for the Snohomish County Council (District 4), and former Mayor of Mill Creek, Terry Ryan, in endorsing D’Angelo for the Northshore School Board.
“I am honored, and proud to have the endorsement of State Senator Rosemary McAuliffe,” said D’Angelo. “Rosemary has been an advocate for our children, and their education during her tenure as a state lawmaker. I look forward to working with her if I am elected.”
McAuliffe is a former Northshore School Board Director herself, serving on the board for 14 years, two years as board president. She currently serves as a ranking member of the Senate Early Learning and K-12 Education Committee.
D’Angelo attended Northshore schools herself and is currently an Adjunct Professor and Student Advisor at Northwest University. She also has two children in Northshore schools.
